Instagram Post Icons

Heart Icon
The heart icon is the common like button. When you tap on it, the heart turns red and adds a like to the photo. You can also double click on the photo to like it. This way you can view all your liked photos.

Speech bubble

Paper aeroplane icon
Think of this as a submit button. This will allow you to send the post to your Instagram friends via Instagram messaging or add the post to your Story.

Bookmark
This icon allows you to save or bookmark the post to your collections. To view the saved posts, open your Instagram profile and tap the icon with three bars at the top. From the menu, select Saved. Saved posts are private and only you can see them.

People icon
The person icon on a post means that someone is tagged in that post. Tap the post to see the username of the tagged person.

Three-dot icon

Arrow icon next to username
When you look at your own bio screen, you’ll see a small down arrow at the top next to your username. Tap it to switch between multiple profiles, if any.
